machine in detail
The double disc clears the straw and the root mass to the side.
When used in a double row crop, this element removes the extra row after the first harvest. The full-surface cut prevents the strawberry plants in this row from continuing to grow. Most of the cut plants are scattered on the straw mat of the soil and can thus dry out.
Especially for outdoor culture, the Cutora Plus element is equipped with straight track disc to guide the soil straw mixture past the coulter without disturbance. The bearings have been turned outwards. This combination can also be used in a foil damm. However, discs must be fitted at the front for guidance. Straight track discs are possible at the rear.
The track discs ensure that no material gets onto the strawberry plants.
For outdoor culture, track discs, 500 mm in diameter, can be advantageous if the soil is not to be shifted much. No steering and control function is required here, as the tendrils are to be cut first and foremost.
Goosefoot point (soil cultivation)
Goosefoot points can be supplied in widths of
350 mm
400 mm
450 mm
and 500 mm
The height-adjustable tube roller (tube roller or STS roller) controls the working depth of the discs and levels the soil.
tools and accessories
The standard equipment includes the convex disc: 500 mm diameter, not toothed and with a welded-on protective ring to counteract foil damage.
From 2020, there will be an alternative conical disc with a pressed-in protective ring, which also counteracts foil damage. These discs are slightly serrated in order to be able to grasp the tendrils even better.

As an alternative to the coulters, the double disc element can be mounted in the centre mounting space. The discs, each inclined at a double angle of 20°, are slightly slotted and have a diameter of 450 mm. The offset of 60 mm allows the discs to be mounted very close together so that the central area is processed over the entire surface and the organic materials on top are completely divided.
The basic version of the roller is a tube roller, which safely supports the cultivation elements and slightly reconsolidates the soil.
The STS roller has the advantage that it runs more smoothly, the compaction of the soil is better, and is much better in heavy and wet soils.
From 2020, a harrow will be included in the range, which levels the soil behind the rollers and distributes the organic material even better.
However, if the harrow is not suitable for the work, it can be raised and is without function.
